I am a Principal AI researcher at MedInTech Inc., where I develop intelligent systems for motorized endoscopy. My primary interests are twofold: first, applying recent advances in computer vision and robotics to medical applications to create tools that empower healthcare professionals; and second, designing robust machine learning systems that transform technology into consistent value—including clean code, tailored tech stacks, and effective team communication.

I earned my Ph.D. in Intelligence and Information from Seoul National University under the supervision of Prof. Wonjong Rhee. During my doctoral studies, I developed deep learning algorithms for analyzing electrocardiogram (ECG) data and explored explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques to make complex models more interpretable, aiming to build systems that effectively support human decision-making.
